7. How do I remove a Truck tailgate wrap?
BEFORE YOU START
– Preparation: A plastic scraper, cleaning solution, paper towel, and wastebasket.
– Position: Your truck should be indoors, away from direct sunlight, and in a well-lit area.
Attention: Vinyl decals come off best when removed at warm temperatures, between 65º to 80º F, with low levels of humidity. Avoid using metal razor blades to peel the edges, as this could damage the paint.

Step 1: Lift the edges or corners of the wrap with a plastic scraper. Find the edges of your wrap material along the seams in your tailgate. Slide a plastic scraper along the edge, then peel and slowly pull at a 45-degree angle. Keep your pulling pressure, angle, and speed consistent while peeling off the wrap.
Step 2: Use wrap removal solvent to remove adhesive residue. You can buy RAPID REMOVER. Spray it on, wait a few minutes, and easily wipe away residue adhesive with a plastic scraper and paper towel.
